Isparta University of Applied Sciences (IUAS) is a public higher education institution in Türkiye that focuses on applied learning, vocational education and strong collaboration with industry and society. Within the ZEBRAS Project (Zero Waste through Bokashi Composting to Produce Compost for Healthy Soil), Isparta University of Applied Sciences participates as a project partner and contributes its academic knowledge and educational experience to the development of project activities and outputs. The university plays an important role in supporting the research activities, identifying the needs of target groups and contributing to the development of educational materials related to sustainable waste management and composting practices.

IUAS also supports the preparation of training resources and learning materials that will help students, farmers and local communities better understand the importance of organic waste management and environmentally friendly practices. Through its participation in the project, the university contributes to the development of practical and accessible knowledge that encourages the adoption of sustainable composting methods such as Bokashi composting.

In addition to contributing to educational content development, IUAS participates in training activities, testing of project materials and dissemination of project results among students, educators and relevant stakeholders. The university also helps promote the project’s objectives by sharing knowledge and raising awareness about sustainable waste management and soil health within academic and local communities.
